Quickie about school work and living alone.

June 8, 2009

So for this month’s classes, we’re learning about websites and fixing our older projects to make them even more portfolio worthy. Fun stuff. Also I loved Photography class so much, that I’m taking it again next month. Thats if I can get out of my financial funkiness.

So my roommate graduated from Film on friday, congrats Dan! Also he’s a pretty good rapper, his shit is pretty funny. So instead of finding another roommate and going through all that shit again, I decided to get a single bedroom apartment in the same complex. I been thinking how great it’s going to be, but now I have a feeling it’s going to be weird for a while. With living with Danny, I knew someone was there in the house with me and now I going to be just me! I know, its really stupid, but after living with someone for over a year and a half, I guess I’m going to miss it. I love living down here and living alone, can’t be that bad, right? Yeah I’m over thinking this shit, it’s going to be fine.

Bikes, Babes & Bikinis!

May 15, 2009

Like O-M-G you guys, it’s been awhile huh? Well you know how it goes with school and life. Anyways, so with my first post in awhile and its awesome!

So check it out. For Corporate Branding class at Full Sail, we are doing a project and we have to come up with everything design wise for this mock bike shop it Tampa. So with this type of project, the idea of doing a calender photo shoot didn’t take long. A posting on craigslist went up for models in bikinis and custom choppers. Several girls were interested but, you know how it goes. Once it came down to shoot today, only one showed up willing to work! And she was great, her name was Jennifer and she did a great job, especially shooting outside in the heat and sitting on the hot bikes.(As in the bikes were hot to touch cause of the sun lol, also the bikes were pretty sweet!)  We were shooting at Central Florida Choppers and they’re located next to an on ramp on I4. So with all the attention she got from the cars driving by, we knew we’re doing it right!  Check out some of the behind the scenes: (I’m sure you’ve skip this paragraph and scrolled down to the pictures:)

You like? Want the calender? LoL, sorry it’s only for our project:) Thanks to Bryan for bringing his bike out for the shoot. And to Allen and Jason at CFC for giving us some info about custom bike shops and for letting us shoot there. Thanks again to Jennifer for coming out and doing a very nice job, she looked great! I had a good time and it was an excellent experience.

And Then I Met Frotography.

April 10, 2009

I saw on Vimeo.com, that they had a weekend project, where you would imitate a video that inspired you. With DVP class at Full Sail, the first video Mac showed us was, Jared Well’s “And Then I Met Photography”. I’ve seen it before hand and it seems like everyone refers to it.

So I decided to imitate it and make a little video about my afro. I told MZ about it and he started sending ideas to me and the next day we film it in about a hour. At first it was going to be called; “And Then I grew an Afro”. After filming the next day MZ, sent a text that said; “And then I met frotography?” Yes! That title is awesome!

Be sure to watch both videos to get the full dose of it. Music: “Ladyflash” and “Junior Kickstart” by The Go! Team. “Say it so” by Mateo.

Note: my audio is not the best. That’s what happens when you’re editing two video at the same time:)

What happens when, you shower right before class and you forget to bring your pick?

Your classmates freak out. Haha, they were all like, you’re not J-Fro anymore, you’re fro is a little flat. Geez, I wonder what their reaction is going to be when, I shave my head the next day…..

Mac-Gyver: Pretty Good Bloopers Reel

March 18, 2009

Here is the bloopers reel for Mac-Gyver. I had a great time filming Mac-Gyver and so did my classmates and was laughing through out editing this video. When I was editing Mac-Gyver, I noticed one of the twins(Jeff or Joe dont know which one, but it was one of them!) said the line; “pretty good bloopers reel” and I was like, I’m so using that for the bloopers video!

Some of the footage not used in Mac-Gyver, showing some of the people in the class actually doing something. My favorite bit in the bloopers is the part with Mark and Maggie in the montage scene that was cut. Their reactions to each other was really funny to watch.

The montage at end with the tough boys song is also a favorite of mine. Using the audio clip of “pretty good bloopers reel” in the beginning, I edited some footage together with the song that, was used in one of my favorite MacGyver episodes, it had ninjas in it!

Enjoy, kthanks bye!

Music Visulization – Universal Mind Control

March 18, 2009

Oh hello, wow its been awhile huh? Ok lets get back on this horse shall we?

For my Advance Motion Graphics class at Full Sail, we were to use 30 seconds of music and add some motion graphics touch to it. So I used Universal Mind Control by Common and I had my friend DJ Ghetto D remix the song for me. He pump out a few of them and I feel in love with this one, which was the first one he sent.

The premise was, to have a guy who uses his mind to knock down the objects going by. No it’s not the afro knocking them down! And yes that is a characterization of me with shades, lol.

Wonderworks 3D Model

February 4, 2009

I created this 3D model, of the Wonderworks building in Orlando, FL.
In October, me and Dawn Dawn took a trip to see the building and snapped some photos of it.
And of course we had to snap some pics for Facebook!

Here’s is the pre pro:

These are some of the early builds:

And this is the final render with all the materials:

The video was created in After Effects and the song is Teddybears Mix by Lisa Miskovsky.
