I Have Cancer in my Fro.

Whoa been a while has it? A little quick update with a Yo Jmo Quickie shall we? Been really into editing videos in Final Cut Pro lately. Did a video for David Spates who is a popular Youtuber and got a lot of subs for that. Expect a few random videos and Yo Jmo vlogs. Almost done with school, it’s kind of getting ridiculous, should’ve been graduated by now. Got a hosting service and now using wordpress.org. I want to get my own theme for this site down the road. And finishing up here, I’m doing the social media thing for I Am Cleopatra so that’s pretty cool. And my fro doesn’t have cancer.

Mixmp3 Monday #1

Howdy neighbor, Jmo here to bring you some freshness for your ears son! Monday is almost over but I’m still able to share with you “Mixmp3 Monday”. I’ve been listening to these two mixtapes over the weekend and though I’d share. First up is:

Traphik’s “MIXEDAPE” that he released last week, is a combination of original songs, covers and songs from his popular Youtube videos. It’s a really good mix with, “Throw Em Out” getting it started, one of my favs. Also I really like the “Baby” (live remix) cover he has on there. It sounds great and it’s pretty funny that the next song that follows it is “Bubble Guts”.

Girl Talk – All Day:

So apparently you can release an album filled with mash ups and samples and you can break the internet as well. Girl Talk released “All Day” last Monday and it was so popular, people had a hard time downloading it off his site. It was even a trending topic on Twitter. Krazy. It has samples from various artist thru out the years, mixing the beat from Miley Cyrus’s “Party in the U.S.A.” with the rapping from M.O.P.’s “Ante Up”. It works. Krazy. Favorite mix is in “Let it Out” at 1:25 with Juicy J twurkn’ it over Electric Light Orchestra’s “Mr. Blue Sky”.

My Official song for my Afro!

I was looking for Willow Smith’s new video for her song on Youtube and this was the first thing that popped up and THANK GOD FOR IT! I was shocked, smiling and wanted to die laughing when everything Bruce (DCfan4life) said in the first verse. I can related to all of that! The hair being flat when I lay down, to loose hairs on my shoulders and especially to people telling me what to do with my hair. “You should have it braided” Done that. Twice. “When are you going to cut your hair?” Not anytime soon.

I Liked, Favorite and Subscribe before the video was done. The song is really catchy, a funny spoof of Willow’s song and the beat is by Mike “Klassicmaster” Kalombo. It’s Frotastic.

Yo Jmo Quickie

Oh hello! Been awhile hasn’t it? This is a Yo Jmo Quickie(title pending). Since I recently got the iPhone 4,(I love it btw) I’m able to post new entries from my phone. So I’ll be posting these quick little updates whenever something comes up or whenever I feel like it. So yeah.

Parking Lots/Garages the Best Investment?

So on Saturday I went to City Walk in Orlando to meet Youtube’s CTFxCs Charles and Alli(Charles touched my fro and Alli gave me props, it was magical!). The only thing I dreaded about going was having to park in the parking garage and pay $14. $14! I was only going to be there for a couple of hours! I knew how expensive it was before hand but it got me thinking. Who ever owns that garage(Universal Studios/City Walk), must make a looooot of money everyday, just from those two garages.

Think about it, throughout the day it cost $14 for cars to park there, until after 6pm-10pm its $3. And they have two parking garages and on a busy day it can probably fill up during the middle of the day. With all those parking spots, it all adds up. How much? How the heck should I know, I’m just a blogger here.

Anyways this reminds of when Frankie Muniz from Malcolm in the Middle, said years ago he was investing in parking lots. He talked about how they are just open spaces and you charge people to leave their cars there. Man I’ll tell you, this guy is a G!

So if you or someone has some empty/wasted space just laying around, bulldoze those trees, clear those bushes and throw some cement/pavement/or rocks if you got em on the ground and invest in parking lots! How else do you think I’m going to pay off these student loans lololololol.

Other random notes and facts about parking spots/garages.

1. Empty parking lots are great places to teach someone how to drive or how to drive your stick shift(see #3).
2. Full Sail definitely needs a parking garage or just pave the dirt lot they have back there.
3. Also be careful when going back to your car at night, you might get sexed up(see #1).
4. ECHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOs!
5. People who take up two spots are jerks.
